'Valiente' will soon return on Philippine TV via TV5

The highly popular and well-loved Filipino teleserye 'Valiente' will make a grand comeback in February 2012  on TV5. 

'Valiente's ' story revolves around the deep friendship of Theo Braganza and Gardo Valiente which Donya Trining (Theo's mother) will try to break as the two families are in direct conflict with each other. With this family feud, the blossoming romantic relationship between Gardo and Maila Braganza is put in peril. Along the way, Gardo will eventually figure out his real identity which will be his ace against the Braganzas.

Breathing life to the characters on modern 'Valiente' are JC de Vera, Oyo Boy Sotto, Nadine Samonte and Nina Jose. Seasoned actors like Cherry Pie Picache, Jacklyn Jose, Michael de Mesa (who played Gardo Braganza in the original series) and Mark Gil will lend their acting expertise to the young generation.

'Valiente' is produced by its original producer TAPE Inc. The show started airing on ABS-CBN from 1992-1995. When ABS-CBN seek to buy the rights of 'Eat Bulaga' from TAPE Inc, all of TAPE Inc's shows ('Valiente', 'Eat Bulaga' and 'Okey Ka Fairy Ko') moved to rival station GMA7 in 1995. 'Valiente' eventually wrapped up after five years of airing in 1997.
